After the success of the now hard-to-find Truth and Soul single, Do You Love Me b/w Honey Dove, The Expressions went into the studio with Lee Fields to cut a full length LP of music inspired by groups like The Moments and The Delfonics---music that will simply move you to tears or the dance floor and sometimes, both. Side A is a politically charged number which Lee Fields pours his heart into. On My World, strings float atop a driving rhythm which is reminiscent of classics like King Heroin and What's Going On. Side B is a emotional love song though and though. Love Comes And Goes has Mr. Fields opening his heart to a girl whose lost interest in a once fruitful and loving relationshfip.
